    Router table DC

I decided to try adapting my router table to above and below DC using the sewer pipe I've been using for everything else. I had my table rigged for just bottom pull through the router's vac port, but modified my fence and added a wye and an arm. The wye fit right over the 2.5in DC port I had side mounted, so the DC 4in hose connects to the front from the side. Not pretty, but functional. Lots of good airflow, works alot better than just bottom pull. First 2 photos are "before", others are "after". Thanks for looking.

Looks good to me. Rod Kirby's posts got me interested in the dual port aspect. I started with the bottom only vac and discovered there is a lot of dust on the top side for sure!

As long as it works well for you, who cares what it looks like. Looks as if it could take a direct hit from a mortar.

Thanks for the kind words. I used strong-ties to secure the plumbing, so it just might survive a direct mortar hit. And the driver was function and cost - this was maybe $10-12 in parts.
