Sketchup tutorial videos ~ "for dummies)

    this might'a been posted before,
but the topic came up sort of in another thread i started panel glue-up jigs
Shoottx mentioned having trouble with the program so thought i'd put this here for others having snags...

these little how-to video clips are GREAT! they are kinda old,2007, but still all apply to new versions of sketchup as far as i can see.

ive already learned a few hidden shortcut tricks from them i didn't know about.

heres another stei with some video tutorials specifically for woodworking designs.
The internet's leading online resource for learning Sketchup that is built and run by woodworkers for woodworkers.

check out the photo realistic rendering of this chest of drawers
he's also put together some nice tutorials as well

      Thanks
I will give them a try. I would really like to be able to use sketch up. The slow speed of using my old drafting skills is still faster then frustration of learning yet another program.

But I will giver another shot!

+3. I REALLY need these, so far I haven't been able to get a straight line, let alone anything that looks like a piece of wood. A big THANKS!

          Hey guys'
          glad to help ,
dont know why i never used this program more in the past.
guess since i already had autocad and was used to that.
          it's becoming highly addictive!

i found another great resource here http://www.go-2-school.com
free video podcasts which are also download-able,
          forums and other things.

also some from google's page, http://sketchup.google.com/training/videos.html
