There are a few ways to make your air compressor more functional. Initially, to set it up to provide cooler, dryer air and allow filters to be more effective is explained in this thread.
To further enhance using air lines, a manifold can be mounted at the ultimate filter location, which has more than one output. Many regulators have more than one output, but that regulator can only adjust the pressure from lines that come from it. Installing a log type manifold:
will enable you to mount a regulator, air gauge, and quick disconnect, on each line out. With this setup, you can have multiple lines with different air pressure for each.
The advantage to this is that if you are doing multiple procedures, you're not constantly having to fiddle with a regulator to change airline pressures.
