    My good fortune....small gloat

The company I work for manufactures scales and some of them are customs for portability. We had a large order of 5 custom scales that were specified for our customer and just after we bought all of the custom materials the customer up and cancels the order. Because of the terms of the contract the customer pays for the materials already bought. Well to my good fortune there were 20 of the following casters bought for these portable scales. Now we have no use for them, so i asked my boss if I could purchase them at a discounted rate as the company had already been paid for them when the order was cancelled. So I bought 20 of these casters for $3.00 each, as opposed to $8.95 from our supplier.

A lower case "thank you" is in order then.
