    Now the fun starts

I finally got my DC hooked up the way I want it.
    I'll post pics later.
    1 HP Delta with 45G drum/LV hood.
Flex running along the wall with first drop to a floor sweep (SWEET!!) and second Y to tools and then continue to dead end (for now).
    Blast gates on the take-offs.
Remote hooked up to DC and 4" reduced to the BT3.
Gonna be very nice. I'm thinking of also running a 2-1/2" line up and over to hook up the SG.

The most frustrating thing for me was trying to hook up the DC to the BT# and moving around all the time.
Now that I have a set place for pretty much everything, I can start actually working efficiently (yeah, right).

Look forward to seeing the pictures ! I'm right behind you on that path so would be great to see what someone else is doing. Every conversation about this helps to get a better grasp on the whole thing.

      Contemplating DC

Brian, Pics would be a big help to me since I am consindering an upgrade to a DC. And if you don't mind, would you care to share you costs so far on adding your DC?

      Thanks. - Kevin

The pics will have to wait til tomorrow now.
Went to check out a buddy's garage...beers+ followed.
Home now...tornado watch is on...big storm.
        Plus it's dark.

As far as costs go, like I mentioned I bought flex hose, so that means more $$ (especially for the LV clear stuff, but it's good to -40F or something like that).
On the basics that the photos will replect, probably about $150 including the hose. Remember though, my selection of sources is limited so I think I'm paying more. I think all totalled I've probably spent $300 on fittings, etc.
Many to be seen when my mobile BT3 is finished.

Yes, but there's only 10-12% exchange right now.
To quantify this, the prices at Busy Bee are average around here and actually I've bought all except the hose there.

            Not sure how they compare.

              Pistures of dust collector system

Well gentlemen, here's what I've got so far. Not fancy nor complete.
I'm picking up some 2-1/2" hose and fittings to run overhead to SG on the weekend, and then I think things may change a little on the branches you see, or I'll just add another one.
