I had to cross cut several long panels (~70") and didn't have crosscut
sled jig. With one SMT and accessory table next to it (for balance), the panel was wiggling little bit (perhaps due to its weight) when I moved the SMT so the cut wasnt square. Even clamping the panel with miter fence didnt help.
I was wondering what to do.. then realized I have another SMT. So replaced the accessory table with the 2nd SMT. Now, the whole panel moved nicely without any irrregular movements and made perfect (almost) crosscut.
