    Sometimes it's the little things...

Had to stay home with the kiddies last week for a snow day -- luckily they can stay out of trouble long enough to get in a little shop time.

Now that I have drawers under my BT3, I thought I'd make my dado blades a little more accessible. This was quick to make, and I've been a little surprised at how nice it is to have these blades a little more handy.

Then, I thought I'd make my board jack a little quicker to install and remove, while being able to move it out of the way of the drawers while in use.

It attaches with a sliding dovetail into a permanently mounted track. I made a couple 16" long tracks and spaced them out.

They're all stolen from one place or another to begin with, so have at 'em!

            Regards,
            Tom

I'm coming to the realization that my "original" ideas are probably just the ones I don't remember that I saw somewhere else first. The more I lose memory, the more I feel like a genius.

HeyTom, what's the vertical stagger of the rows, 1/4"? 1/2"?
              TIA,

It never ceases to amaze me how much there is to learn from people on this site. Would never have thought of that!

IIRC, the holes drop 1/2" as they step across. So, in the strictly vertical direction, they're 2" on center.

The holes themselves are 1/2" diameter.

                    Regards,
                    Tom
