First, I HATE YOU! Boy, you REALLY know how to make me feel inadequate.

My gosh, Rod, everywhere I look in the picture of your shop I see something exceptional or unbelievable.
          • Is that a handle on the straight edge?
          • The hood and light over the grinder are superb
          • How, how, how can you have no shield behind the grinder but still keep it looking un-usde?
          • Your jigs look like works of art
          • Ditto on the storage box hanging on the wall
          • Your vaccum looks un-used, ditto hoses - great hose storage
          • How do you use the ruler? clamp? with the two "stops"?

OK - I have been impressed by numerous "articles" but I was unprepared for this glimplse of your shop. THANK you for your 1,500 postings.

Do you link(s) to more shop pics or articles?

          Thank you, thank you.

Thanks for the kind words. Your questions - in order...
              • Yes - as purchased.
              • The Light is effective.
              • Confession - I haven't used the grinder since I got a belt sander
              • Houses 2 jigsaws and my nail gun
              • Frone hose gets used ALL the time - just storage for the others
              • It's a "Woodpecker style" clamp - eg a Router/jigsaw/circular saw "fence" - all my fences have stops
Once Sam restores the old pics I will post more of the Shop. I have several articles also.

I've long been impressed by Rods' work, and his meticulous attention to detail. But reading this post I had to wonder if the stereotype of the wife following along behind the husband picking up after him is turned around in the Kirby household....

...Honey, not to nag, but there is a grain of salt on the salt shaker lid, and the condiments on the refrigerator shelf are out of alignment again.

Just kidding of course Rod. Looks great !!
