Looks good. At some point I am going to add firring strips for some pegboard to my block walls to hang some of my longer items.

After many years with pegboard, if I ever build a new shop I'm not going to have any. Everything on it collects dust, and the hooks never fail to fall out behind the workbench.

Nope, it's drawers and cabinets for me!

            Pegboard's better than nothing, though.

Every wall in my shop is peg board and I love it.

                    hi,

dust will collect anywhere that's for sure, but my hooks don't fall out of my pegboard anymore. i agree that was a real pain, but now i use these little mini 'plastic-strap' thingies that hold the hooks securely in place. they work great and hooks never fall out or come loose. makes haveing pegboard on the shop wall a real pleasure.

FYI-I recently had a hard time finding "these little mini 'plastic-strap' thingies." I found some in a woodworking catalog (can't remember which), but they wanted $10.00 for 50. After much searching, I found 'em cheap here
Just type "18025" in the search.

                        hi,

thanks for the link - and finding out the the "little plastic thingies" actually have a name - "peg locks". good price too - 25 for a $1.99.

i'm just about out so i'm going to order some more.

Without peg board, I'd never find anything. In fact, if I could hang my 3100 on the wall, I'd do it.
