I was at lowes a week ago and saw this..

It should show up as a garage heater by reddy heat. Click on the image to enlarge to show specs, details and access.
I think the lowes one is a 20K btu one. I do not recall the price but the reddy heater site seemed to be cheaper...although they do not carry a 20k one(must be made for lowes?)I think the 30K one was cheaper? They also show a blower attachment they could prove helpful. I am not keen on ventless, but with no 220 yet, I need heat! I could crack a window to introduce some fresh air to help with o2 depletion concerns. Based upon the specs for LPG (20lb @ $20 for ease of cypherin') it was about $.60/hr for 15k and $1.40/hr for 30k. If this is able to heat up a cold space relatively quick, (like the forced air construction type ones) this may be do-able.

    Anyone have one and thoughts?????

Lee Valley has a 1500W 110V infrared unit for around $70 CDN that fits this bill and it has an optional light....woohoo

        Forgot to mention..
I bought a 5KW electric unit heater from Chromalox for $400 CDN that pushed 350 CFM and heats my 20x22 just fine so far...It hasn't seen a winter yet.
