I purchased one of the LP "torpedos" like you show. I got mine from the BORG, and I beleive it's a 35kBTU unit. Yes it does make a bit of noise, but hey, we are supposed to be wearing ear protection...It does warm up the shop (2 car garage) and it does look wicked. I put it on a few minutes before I go in, and shut it off when it gets warmed up. Turn it back on for a few minutes if/when it cools down... I don't have an abundance or electric in the garage so electric space heaters were out, and I felt that the Kerosene convection heaters would take way to long to heat up...might be good to light once temp is reached...
Bottom Line...pretty powerful unit, warms up shop, but I would shut it off after a while due to the CO issue and lack of O2. Don't know how big an issue that might be because fo the leaky garage but better to be safe than sorry.

My kerosene torpedo would only be good for about 3 feet directly in front of it. Maybe your Playpen needs upgraded to Playroom
