New Saw+New base - mated for life!

Wow - 2 hefty guys (not me), 10 minutes and it was done.

Top of the base has 5 coats of satin poly.

Got to go - there's all this grease ...

"Only five coats"?? Are you slacking off a bit with this new toy? Trying to hurry up the cabinet stand so you can get to work making those new jigs? Rod, you are "the man"
More pics when it's all together please.
Is that a sawdust drawer hole I see?

Fantastic, Rod. still waiting on the 'final' shots and the report on dust collection.

Oh, no no no... This is all wrong. Is that...? Is that what I think it is? (circled in red) This changes everything! The base is quite beautiful. I'm always impressed by things that come out of your workshop.

Rod - do you spray or brush on your poly?

Cooper - it's NOT dust, it's styrofoam - so there!

Tom - I always use a (wide) brush. I'm not setup for spraying.

wow, your shop furniture looks better than my store bought stuff.

That is just awesome, and it's just a saw base...
