Cherry plywood table top?

    Plans changed, I found some OK-priced S4S cherry at the lumber yard (shop is not set up and way to cold to machine rough lumber). So I ended glueing up some solid boards. Of course they were not perfect (mild cupping etc) and neither was the result, but good enough. Due to time constraints and because I had to do the finishing in place, I used Shellac. Not the best choice for a table top, but a good match for cherry (and fast drying and low odor).

    Below is the larger of the two table tops, and there were also a couple cabinet tops.
