My guess ts it all depends what it is going to go, and what it will be used for! If You are making a piece to set on the fireplace, I dought It will become a problem. If it is very strong, I don't think that I would make anything to set in a Religious setting, or for any one who dosen't smoke, or grill
Did You have any one who wanted it ?
I have Hope, and I am Thankfull! Consider WhoWhoGreated it ALL

I plan on air drying the lumber once milled. But I do have another question now. I have two more logs, so it's about time I get my butt in gear and get my BS set up.

BUT- in the meantime, one of the logs is getting a LOT of mold growth on it. How do I stop that? Should I mist the log down (outside of the shop) with a bleech solution, or just scrape it off? Need direction on that, for sure.

      Thanks!
