Need a Mobile Base
12-29-2013, 06:32 PM
Looking for mobile base plan(s) for a bench sized drill press and sanding tools to reside on. Thinking drawers for bits, etc. and castors.
Any suggestions out there?

What do you mean by sanding tools? Could be anything from sanding blocks to ROS/belt sanders to a drum sander.

Much depends on how permanent you plan to mount any tools, or just want a mobile base like have been featured in several woodworking mags in the recent past (here are a couple:
http://www.woodsmithshop.com/downloa...-shop-cart.pdf
and
http://www.woodstore.net/besy.html
and
http://www.shopnotes.com/plans/drill...-storage-cart/
) which can be tailored for tops to accommodate whatever tools you plan to place on it.
