Hi all!
Well, my home theater trim carpenty project is finally complete! While I'm a perfectionist -- and could not attain perfection on this project given that I am an "amateur," I can say that I am pleased with how things turned out. I don't think anyone will walk in and think -- "gee, who's the clown that did this trim job?!" I am happy with the result. My table saw was used heavily and worked well (after solving the blade issue), and I was able to nicely router the bullnose edge on the oak stairs which you all advised me on. So, overall, it turned out real well. I just finished all the staining, and it looks good -- a medium brown; now, I am ready to begin polyurethane application.
I just wanted to thank all who helped me out, for the advice and help you gave me along the way -- it helped me to get "over the hump" in terms of my issues, and gave me the confidence to tackle the project.
THANKS!
Steve
