First turning on a drill press

Got the chance to do a little turning on my old drill press. I needed to make a repair to an Advent Calendar, one of the pegs that is used to open the door popped out. Chucked up a small diameter walnut dowel that I had on hand and worked the shape using an old hacksaw blade and sandpaper. Not your traditional tools, but it worked out. The second photo almost looks like a stylus from an industrial robot...perhaps a Dalek, Rich? :P

I think in straight lines, but dream in curves
