    Holdfast geometry.

    Can someone take some measurements of a holdfast they have that works, please? I want to have a local blacksmith make me some, but we are having a hard time with the measurements.

    T, alot of the geometry has to do with your table thickness. Apparently there is a sweet spot but its dependent on top thickness. Some articles I have read in the past indicated having a smith "adjust" the angle to get it just right. Here's a good read:
