Hey guys & ladies!
After a while out of the shop, I've got another project starting. I'm making a little rocking duck for a mom-to-be at church. I want this to last through her grandchildren so I'm using oak. The thought of painting oak gives me the shakes so I thought I might try dye for the yellow duckie body and orange for it's little bill. Any suggestions for the type to use? Can that be poly'ed over just like stain? Never tried dye before so any guidance is appreciated!
