How to glue/fasten vinyl poster to wood?

I'm looking for suggestions on how to mount/fasten/glue a vinyl poster to wood (pro'lly Luan as I have some on hand). This is for my garage wall so it's nothing fancy.

I tired spray adhesive to thick corrugated cardboard prior and it didn't work. I don't know if the poster is to heavy because it's vinyl or maybe it was the cardboard.

Should I try the spray adhesive again but this time with the plywood? Is there something else someone could recommend (double sided tape, etc)? Or is there a type of resin I could use?

    Thanks
    Bryan

If your spray adhesive is a contact cement, which requires both surfaces to be coated...dry time, stick together, it should have worked. If not, use a regular solvent base contact cement.

I would use vinyl wallpaper past.

Would this work against wood or just drywall surfaces?

          My previous effort.....

was with 3M Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive. I still have some of this left, should I try it again except using plywood instead of cardboard?

          Thanks

Did you allow the spray adhesive to dry 5-10 mins before attaching the two pieces. If it's still wet the pieces won't bond.
