Hey all, Looking to move a natural gas fireplace,Direct vent ,fed by 1/2 copper pipe,Is it possible to cut the pipe,and extend it about 15 ft,I cannot replace the whole pipe easily as it passes through a finished area of the basement,so, before I get someone is too price it,just wondering am I wasting my time,If you CAN cut the pipe what king of fitting would be used? brass connector, flaring the ends of the pipe?, the pipe has 25 psi.
