I have been looking for something quick to do for my kids and I decided on making a few yo yo’s. Can’t find any really good plans on the net but I have found articles in Wood magazine (June 2008) and American Woodworker (Oct 1994) about making yo yo's. If any one has these magazines I would greatly appreciate if you would contact me I would like a copy of the articles. I found one step by step on how to make one but it is the size of a baseball and it did not look good. I know I can buy a wooden kit for a few bucks but I need a project to get back into the shop. I am also looking for any ideals on wooden toys and games that I can make in a weekend. If anyone has input, ideals or a web link please leave a post. Free plans are a plus! Thanks!
