PSA Veneer

I have a lot of shellac and I am wondering if the veneer will stick to that, or do I need to use something else (lacquer or varnish)? Is a special scraper tool required or can I use a substitute?

Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

PSA veneers will stick very well to smooth finishes. No need to change the finish. Make sure it's clean and dry and not adorned with nibs or any deviations that may read through the veneer.
