Cope and Stick Router Bits ?

I am replacing some kitchen cabinet doors. It will include all base cabinets and wall cabinets. I have priced the bits from Freud, Bosch and LTH Enterprises and all are going to "break the bank", so to speak. I know you get what you pay for, but I am curious if there is another brand that does a good job without costing a small fortune?

The prices I see run from $110.00 each bit. And if I also get the raised panel bit to match, add another $125.00.

Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places? Any advise would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

Have you looked at MLCS? They have a large selection and free shipping

I have experience using Woodline's 6-piece cabinetmaker's set. I've used it to make about a dozen doors for various purposes. The first time I used it, the joints fit perfectly.

Others likely will chime in with their favorite set. I surmise that somebody in the trades likely would lean toward heavier duty sets like those you mentioned. For what I do, a good set like the Woodline set performed well.

You might also check into the Price Cutter line, MLCS's "Katana" line, or CMT for some higher quality imports, or the MLCS, Woodline, Woodriver (Woodcraft) or Grizzly bits for value imports.

I've used quite a few bits from MLCS including at least one cope and stick bits and at least one panel raiser. They work well and are less expensive. If I order early in the week, I have them before the weekend (with free shipping). There are only a few bits that I order from the premium brands, including a 1/4 inch shank dovetail bit for my HF dovetail jig. Most bits the cheaper brands work fine for me.

              I just ordered

the 6 piece cabinet set from Woodline for $119.00. Their warranty and prices look pretty good. I appreciate the helpful info from each of you. I will let you know the results after I get started in a week or so. I am remodeling a complete kitchen. I have the base cabinets made and next week hope to start on the wall cabinets. Then onto the doors and drawers.

              Thanks again,

Holbren looks good too - but your message was posted while I was ordering from Woodline.
              Sorry
