You have made an excellent piece there Steve. You did a nice job of execution on a good design by someone. Pretty obvious from the first picture you used walnut as the main wood and it really looks good. It used to be a favorite of mine but my free source dried up about 20 years ago.

Again... that is one nice cabinet. I have one similar in the hopper for a new flat screen TV after a crochet-lamp-table that will go to the bench just after Xmas. I am undecided at this point if I will use one main component as you have now or go with towers on the sides as the plans you used calls for? Oh well.. I shall see when I get there.

Again.. extremely nice job which you (and your picky-picky wife) should be proud of.

    Well done...

      Thanks Sarge.
I'm going through the decision of towers or not also. We have a nitch about 10' away that now houses an aquarium. Right now we plan a single unit in that area which will house all the equiptment. If we go towers it would take up so much of the wall and would put the speakers to far apart.
      Still planning.

Very nice job. That cabinet looks top notch.

I wish I could take credit for giving some helpful advice on this, but, nope...

Very very nice. I think your choice's are very well thought out.
