I was at HD last night looking for plywood for a project, and they had some 3/4 AC plywood, pine on the A side for 15.00 cheaper than fir sided stuff. They guy there told me he sells a ton of it for cabinets. I am in the process of remodeling our kitchen, and was going to reface the old carcases with some 5/16 T & G paneling I found at a great deal. I am wondering now, since my wife hates the current cabinets what kind of finish this plywood would take (she doesn't want it painted). The doors are similar to this
but 1/2 in. overlay, made of pine, it goes with the country kitchen theme she chose.
Though it would be more work, that plywood seems like a very good buy, any opinions?
