It was in Wood Magazine September 2004. You can buy the plans here:

This is something I have always wanted to make. Post finished pics.

        Thanks Paul,
I was actually able to download free. Maybe since I am a subscriber. I looked in the October issue since I'm making the rocking horse for my daughter. I must have skipped Sept. I was certain it was Wood or American Woodworker, but I ddin't want to say anything. You saved me some time and I now have a digital copy.

Do subscribers get to download Wood magazine plans for free? Might be worth it to subscribe.

I don't think so, I have not noticed that I could do that. I will check it out tonight. I have subscribed to Wood for many years, and it is my favorite WW Mag.

                Ahhhh...

That makes more sense. Still, might sign up. Sounds like an interesting little project. Not that I carry business cards much.

Yeah. It's probably since I subscribe to the email messages. I hadn't thought of that. The funny thing for me is that I was sure I was flipping through a magazine and I was going nuts trying to find the issue at home. SInce it was from Sept-04, I must've seen it online.
