    Anyone Try This Yet?

I picked this spout up at HD. Thought it might make pouring out of a gallon can easier.

I've had one for a while. Works, when I remember to use it.

Bought a couple of them the other day, but haven't used them yet. Years ago we had something similar (not sure where it went). The old one worked pretty well as I remember.

I've got two now and have used them for a few years. They work excellent and are easy to clean. I leave them in a container of water and any dried paint peels off. I find it makes cleaning the the lid and can minimal and get a great seal on partial cans.

I got the one with a screw on cap. I like it. I can open a can, put that top on and pour paint, then put the cap back on and not have to put the paint lid on again. Half of the replacement lid also opens so I can brush paint out of it if I want to.

I've had and used one of those for many years, I use it every time I need to dump paint out of a gallon can. Very handy and it works great. I hate paint cans with old paint drooled all down the side.

A couple years ago I asked at the loca mom-and-pop paint store to buy another one, and the guy had never heard of them. The next time I was in there I showed it to him and he thought it was the most amazing invention ever.

The replacmement lids with the screw caps are great for trim paint when you need to pour out small portions at a time and reseal.

Where did you get yours? I had one like it but can no longer find it. I found it very handy while painting the house. The paint didn't get thick in the can and it stayed in the can when you tipped it over. I have saved several Dutch Boy plastic cans with the screw on top but the snap on lid for a normal can was much more handy.

We have a red one that is a ring that goes around the entire can top. Works very, very well. We just painted much of the upper level of our house, and it really makes pouring into a roller pan (or roller bucket in our case) mess-free. It's especially helpful on brand new (very full) cans.

I got it at Lowes or HD. I can't remember which one but it would not have been anywhere else.

Sears also used to carry the same type of pouring lid, don't know if they still do but it worked great. Still have mine.

Menards had these last spring. The West Allis store had them in a bucket by the paint tinting machine. For gallon cans I like the red ring that goes all the way around better, but the small flexible style work great on quart cans.

I have two of the yellow ones shown in the OP. It works good for me. I wouldn't pour paint without one.
