    Entertainment Center Again???

Working on this and have a question about the square(sharp) edges. It seems that they need to be rounded just a touch. I have a 1/8 roundover which may be fine but how do you handle where the joints are? If you r/o the entire length there will be a reveal at the joint but if stopped before the joint there will be an area where the roundover is ending.

Small piece of sandpaper, 80 - 110 grit, against a small wood block for a backer, sand with the grain and knock off the sharp edge that is left from the router not reaching into the corners, OR use the router before assembly and run into where the corners will meet. Personally, I would use some elbow grease and use the sandpaper/wood block method rather than risk going too far with the router and messing it up, toooo easy to go just a little too far, IMHO.

I "break the edge" several different ways (in order of preference). Low Angle Block plane, card scraper or sandpaper. I've burned the edge doing it with a router before and found doing it with hand tools is best for me

Great! Thanks for the responses. I have some backsides that will not show so will try all three methods and see which works best for me.
        Appreciate the suggestions.

+1 on the block plane/sandpaper method.

I try not to show my backside if at all possible…
