    Plastic outdoor furniture material

Has anyone used any of the "plastic lumber" or composites to build any outdoor furniture? I have a great set of plans for a swing, and want to put one together, but want to see if I can make the upkeep low. With that in mind, I was thinking of the poly-woods, but can't seem to find a source. So anyone who has used some, how did you get it, and did you get anything special for the supporting portions?

My thought right now is to get something like Trex and use pressure treated lumber for the supports. I would prefer, though, to make it all out of the same stuff, and thus more aesthetically pleasing.

Any thoughts/guidance, and sources for low quantities?

    Regards,
    Karl

One of the local regional parks (Hyland) has some benchs and whatnot made from composite material. They look a bit live a Salvador Dali "melting" painting and they're not real good to sit on as they sag/bounce quite a bit. Unless you're dealing with very short spans or have a stronger flavor composite (don't know which brand they used, but it was a solid profile, not hollow) I don't think I'd recommend it.
