    Childs Adirondack chair

I want to make a couple for my daughters. I have made many of Norms' full size model but I don't see a smaller size in that style. I guess I could reduce the size of my template but by the time I do that I thought I might be money ahead if I just bought one.

I would just make templates out of hardboard in the regular and smaller scale. I just finished my templates for the same chair last week. After I actually make the chairs, I am going to make some smaller scales.

With the templates, it makes additional chairs that much quicker and easier--either for routing from the templates, or just laying them out.

I made the templates for the full sized chair from a pattern that created from a magazine article. It was not a quick process. I was looking for an easier way.

Scan it in and reduce it by a percentage?

I would have to recreate the pattern from the template but where can I get a 36" part scanned and printed that won't be twice the cost of a pattern?
