Laminating Melamine

I need to laminate a piece of melamine (both faces are melamine) to either a piece of ply, or another piece of melamine. Will Gorilla glue bond to the surface? Should I scuff/sand the surface first?

Roo Glue is specifically for melamine, I haven't worked with gorilla glue.
