    Expandable Table

I wasn't sure where to post this. Does anyone have any idea how this table works?

I saw either a plan for this table or a description of how it was built. I don't think it's Photoshop and I don't have the reference.

Ouch. That cost more than my car.

It would be interesting to just watch them make one of those tables. Something that should be on the Discovery channel.

Construction Blog - Expanding Round Table

A little research turned up this fascinating blog where a real craftsman builds an expanding table. I scanned through it, but want to go back and look closer at the details. If you get to Page 14 and clicking on 'Next' won't work, go back to the Index and click on Page 15 to continue. I don't think I have what it takes to construct a piece of furniture of this magnitude, let alone the tools and equipment to do it.

Heck, that costs more than all the cars I've ever owned added together...
