    What Interior Changes?

With all the interior work necessary on our home, having an air hose in the house required one from the garage to the house, and blocking the door because of the pets. There was also the air conditioning loss and noise.

So, on the back wall of the garage, I piped in through the wall an airline to the inside of a base cabinet in a hallway, with a hose and quick disconnect. The other end goes to a manifold from the compressor. It sure made it easy running air tools inside the house.

So, for convenience or utility, what changes or innovations have you done or planning to do to your home?

    Previously:
    Ripped down a kneewall
Opened up a doorway into the living room that a previous owner had walled over.
Built-in a bar, benches, a wine rack, and a closet.
    Moved a bathroom sink
    Installed central A/C
Built closets in the master bedroom.

    Finishing this weekend:
Took some space from a bedroom to make a linen closet in the hallway

    Later this year:
Tear out a wall separating the kitchen from another room.

    Next year:
    Build a deck

You put an airline in your hallway? Which one? Jet Blue?

I tell ya, gettin' old is no fun. After using computers for 30 years, I can hardly write by hand any more. And now I have to carefully re-read everything I type because I've caught a bad case of fat fingers and seem to mistype at least every other word.
