Friends of ours have a few wooden chairs with casters. The casters are worn out and need to be replaced. Problem is the holes are worn as well from the old casters being loose.
Ideally the old holes should be straightened out by re-drilling, plugged with dowels, then new holes drilled. But the chair legs have some angles to them, so coming up with a jig to get those holes drilled straight might be tricky.
Another idea was to just epoxy the new casters in. That would work, but would make a later replacement near impossible.
Any other ideas or materials that could help?
Thanks much
Gerd
