    Plantation Shutters??

I can't seem to find a lot of info on construction of plantation shutters (with approx 3 1/2" louvers). I saw that Norm did a show recently (which I caught, but didn't record). I also just found a Woodline 5 piece Plantation Shutter router bit set on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...X0DER&v=glance
Has anyone taken a crack at this and have any feedback on how easy/hard these are to construct? These would be painted white. Thanks

    Here you go

You can get great instructions right from the Woodline website. Go here and click on "Plantation Shutters". You can also buy the shutter pins from them.

Thanks. Great article. I missed that one. Has anyone built them?

I've read the instructions before and have them on the project list. The woodline parts and bits seem like a good way to go.

          Gary,

I asked a similar question last year and got some great tips.

By the way, I haven't started yet.
