Doesn't resawing them make them a little thin for some things? As a matter of fact, I've found that I often need to joint and plane them and then face glue them to get a little more structural rigidity for a lot of applications.

I think you just hit on something big. If you go to that extent, why not develop a biscuit joiner and tiny miniature biscuits for edge gluing.

I think popsicle sticks in various woods is a great idea actually. There is an area where they might be in demand and used quite often. Miniature furniture making for doll houses. They already come S4S grade usually. Ready for glue up.

I have been thinking of starting a "fashion" popsicle stick business. I would make a qty of 100 popsicle sticks made out of the wood of choice for the customer.

Do you "heat treat" the lumber for any orders out side of the U.S.? Would hate to see any non-native (really small) insect species intoduced to another counties environment.
