    Assembly Table

Today I actually started my first "real" project since I began converting my shop. I began cutting the pieces to the base for the ShopNotes assembly table in issue #30 (see Rod's post).

Anyway this is the first time I have really put my SC281829 through the paces of many back to back setup changes for the different cuts. I was very impressed by how true my cuts were at each setup. Additionally, I wanted to thank all of you for making me pay attention to details. In the past, I would have laughed at the joints (1/8" tounge and groove) for the base's sleeves because I would never have thought I could setup that accurately. Using the the router accessory table for the tounge and my TS for the groove, I was able to achieve this joint in test scraps. Although its not perfect, its a new milestone for me

PS, I've been picking up and got rid of 98% of the junk pile so I'll have room for the table when it's done (yes I know, I still need more lights too.)

Your before picture looks like my after picture.

I never take anything out of my shop (garage). I just keep moving things around to fit more in !
