    Finishing

Watched 3 episodes of David Marks last nite, they now run 3 shows back-to-back Anyway, he always uses a tung oil/poly & something else mixture for his projects. Only problem he, of course, never says what the mix actually is. Don't blame him in a way but sure would like to know for my own use. I've used straight tung oil but it tkes foreveer to set up and usually I don't have the patience for that. Anybody out there know what he uses, in what proportions and/or have a mix that they like in particular? Signing off as "hungry for knowledge"!

He uses a commercial product, actually 2. Seal-a-Cell and Arm-r-Seal. It's tung oil/boiled linseed oil/urethane. You can buy them at Rockler or Woodcraft.

Thanks Keith. Guess a visit to the store is in order.
