Has anyone built a Kreg Router Table?

I am building this table and can't find the flange 4" 90 degree flanged elbow. Where can I get this from?

Can you give us more info? Is this a PVC dust collector fitting? If so, we could probably help if you tell us more, or show us a picture....

It's a dust collection fitting that attaches to the bottom of the compartment that houses the router and out the back of the table. I'm trying to figure out how to take a snapshot from the exploded diagram that's a pdf file, but upload it due to size (@ least that what the site keeps telling me).

So, do you have a DC system based on 4" PVC? Where do you get your other DC fittings from?

If I had to guess, I'd say they're just showing this as an option -- kind of like "you take it from here to match your system". I get my 4" PVC fittings for DC from Home Depot, BTW.

For something like this, I'd probably cut a 4" hole, and affix a short section of PVC pipe that I could attach an elbow or other fitting to.

        Regards,
        Tom

I built that table. I used a 4" PVC flange with a 90 glued to it. Worked perfectly. Picked them up at Lowes.

John, is there any way you can send me a picture of your setup? I would thoroughly appreciate it. That way it takes all the guess work out. This is my first project.

Sure here is a shot from under the dust compartment. It shows the flange with a 90 glued into it. A piece of 4" S&D comes out of the 90 and through the back of the router table.

And this is from inside the dust collection compartment looking down.

I see. Thanks, John. I was under the impression that it was some special DC piece. That's doable. I see that you painted the I/S of your compartment. Was there any particular reason? Also, forgive my ignorance but what's 4" "S&D"?

I'm guessing that's the flange you see and not a painted cabinet bottom.

                  S&D = Sewer and Drain

                  Good luck with your project,

Thanks for the insight guys. I'll have to post pics of the finished product. I didn't realize woodworking was this cool (but still hasn't caught up with tennis, golf and NASCAR).
