Flooring

Hi

I have an opportunity to purchase a few boxes of solid maple flooring. I was thinking that this wood could be finished a bit so that I could use it for some shop projects. Any thoughts?

I don't see why not. My dad built my mom a kitchen table 20 yrs ago and used tounge and groove oak flooring for the table surface. They still use that table daily. Prefinished flooring can be used too but the finish is hard on tools.
