Continuous Drawer Pulls / Finger Drawer Pulls

    Hi All,

I have several Cabinet project lined up where I will be making about 40 drawers. I was planning on buying Holbren's European bit:
    Whiteside Drawer Pull - European Style 1/4"LR x 1-1/2"LD x 13/16"CL x 2-3/8"OL 1/2" Shank

To integrate the pulls right into the drawer face.
Since I have not done this before I have searched for three days now to see if I could find info on how to do this. So far, I have not found any help on the internet so I am turning to all the experts out there to see
If anyone can recommended info sources on how to cut continuous pulls or can share experience if they have routered pulls before.

Most of the drawers will be 26" wide and 18" deep so the pulls will be 26" long. The depth of the drawers will vary from 2" to 15".

Also, Holbren has two European continuous pull bits one small and one large. I need to figure out if I need the smaller bit for the 2", 3" and 4" depth drawers and the larger bit for the bigger drawers? Since the bigger drawers will be heavier I thought the bigger pull would work better but may be too big on the smaller drawers.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just call Brian at the number posted at the top of the Holbren site. He's a regular contributor here and will most likely do whatever it takes to set you up right.

(Sorry, not familiar with finger pull bits)

    Good luck,
    Greg

The finger pull bit looks like this

Or you can buy the profile in lengths by the foot, usually in red oak that look like this
