How wood you fix this?

    I'd just run it across the jointer a couple times and trim joining parts, if any, to the proper length. Seldom does a sixteenth make much of a difference.

      I'd probably do what mikeinkcmo says - I have a bunch of times but if I wanted to patch it, I would do what Popeye said except I would probably use a hand plane on the piece you show to produce a flat spot to glue on a patch. Fit the patch after you have it glued in place, not before. In other words, make an oversized patch. On the other hand, who knows the dimensions of these things to the 1/8 inch? Who could tell if you just made it a bit smaller?
