Easel Project Help

I wish to build an easel for my nephew. Matthew has Cerebral Palsy and cannot sit or stand unaided. He loves to paint and colour and the therapist has suggested that a magnetic board will help with his dexterity. I basically know what I want to do but to design it around Matthew's limited abilities kind of has me stumped. If anyone has some experience with this kind of project or can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Thats a great idea and I think it can be done. I was thinking maybe you could make or find a used wooden school chair that has a desktop attached to it.

On the desktop you could make something like this:

This would give him an adjustable surface that could be metal for magnet type stuff or hold paper for drawing.

The desk chair would give him 3 sides to lean on for support. Combining those two things into one piece of furniture.
