Need a plan for a platform bed with drawers

I've been approached by my DIL about building a full size platorm bed with drawers. Anybody have a link to a plan. Not real sure I want this project anyway but I told her I'd scout plans. My eyes are starting to cross from the search. Thanks Pat

Just a couple of pointers, you only need a mattress to sit on the platform, polyfoam works real good in 6" to 8" thickness. Mattress height should finish about 18" for a comfortable seating position, but not a rule. Here's just a sample of what you're talking about.

You don't need no stinkin' plans...

I built two of these beds for my kids years ago, without plans. It's very basic. I could give you pointers and send pics of the completed beds. They're both more than 15 years old and lasted through 3 moves, and are used daily.
Use a standard twin mattress. If you insist on plans, look up under 'Captain's Bed'.

I am SO EMBARASSED! I didn't pay attention to who posted and just revisited this thread... Popeye's got more skills than an Olympian. I've seen your gallery. What the heck do YOU need plans for?

Here's one that has the bookcase headboard as well as the drawers. The picture is for a twin, but plans are available on the site for full-size.
