Interesting Stickley side table in PW

There is a project plan for a Stickley table in the November PW. According to the author, the antique, which appeared in a Sotheby auction about two years ago, was not in any of the Stickley catalogs. It was probably a prototype that never went to production.

Nothing special about the table, except for the splayed front and rear legs, which require the rails and the drawer front to be splayed as well.

Can be an interesting challenge for A&C fans looking for one!

I saw it too and like it a lot. Might be a little out of my league though.
I like Wagoneers too. Hey...they've got wood

This might be the one you're talking about. It looks like a great project to make. Laying out the angles and joints is the fun part. Give it a try, don't underestimate your abilities.

I saw it too, want to build it in the worst way. Now first I got to totally destroy a side table already in existance to make room for it.

        Or maybe sell it??

That's exactly it. Thanks for the encouragement! I have at least 3 more projects on the honey-do list before I can even begin to dream of making this one.

Does anyone have a better pic of this table .. . I would really like a better look at it before I bail off and start making drawings and cut plans

Sorry - I had to enlarge it from an itsy bitsy teeny weenie picture on the website. Better than nothing. I would guess, pick up the issue.
