    Projects for the kids

I have lots of neices and nephews and trying to do some nice things for them.

First, table and chairs. I saw someone with a cool table and chair set made from 2x stock and mdf.

Second, trains. Has anyone made durable trains and train tables for kids to play with?

    Thanks for any input.

unit blocks are an awesome toy.

Wooden jigsaw puzzles are great, make them from plywood, and you stick pictures on before you lay on a clearcoat. Gotta have a bandsaw or scrollsaw though.

Boys love the swords. Doll cradles for the girls (or vice-versa, it's the 21st century I suppose...)

Does anyone remember the table and chairs? Maybe bmeyer made it. I have tried to do some searching, but thus far have come up empty.

The ply puzzles are good ideas. But my 3yr old neice already works on 100peice jigsaw puzzles and puts them together. I'll try not to brag too much.

      Thanks all,
      Jeremy

Go to winfieldcollection.com. Lots of ideas and plans. I've used them and found them honest, quick and helpful.
