    Band saw box question

I've made 7 so far, from "the book." Now I have a design of my own.

But, to make it work, I'd have to glue several of the outside-to-inside kerf cuts "back together."

Just wondering if anyone has done this? Would it make the drawers impossible to insert? Any ideas?

Check out the finished projects thread. I'm wondering if you couldn't rough cut the outside shape, rip the front/back off, cut out the drawers, then cut out the drawer faces on the scroll saw. Then glue that stuff all back together. You would have a curvy face frame of sorts.

I'm eagerly awaiting his answer to this question as well.

I've done several that way without a problem Doc. If in doubt though...put the drawer back in it's cubby and then draw the kerf you want to close up closed with a clamp. Most of the time closing the kerf makes the cubby hole for the drawer just enough smaller that it looks better. Pat
