A project that won't get finished

My lovely wife has a tendancy that is both annoying and good. She and I decided that I would make a futon frame for our living room. I purchased the Rockler plan and a bunch of cherry, and started on it a while ago. I was then side-tracked with other projects (non wood related), and havn't been able to work on it for about a month.

Today she went to a tent sale at a local "amish" furniture place, and purchased from them a futon frame. I will no longer be making one, which doesn't entirely upset me as I wasn't in love with the project. I now have about 40 bf of cherry with which to play. I can't wait to get time to do so.

Here is what she purchased, it's solid birch, and quite nice.

She got it in teak, for 119$, 80% off. That's 2 projects that she has done this to me during. I suppose that I should just quite my other 2 jobs and make her furniture full time in order to keep up with her required pace.

On to more interesting projects.....thanks for reading.

Think quick, Keith!: You need to come up with a project for that Cherry before she does....

Keith, at least you seem to have a good way to get some nice wood for any projects you want to build! I'd get busy on the cherry and ask her what she would like built next!
