    Military Retirement Shadow Box

I was commisioned (by my wife) to build a special shadow box for my BIL who is retiring from the Navy (20 +-years, full Commander...)next month.
It is all clear white oak, light golden oak stain & poly.
My wife did the fabric board and arrangment from the official layout drawn by my BIL.

Absolutely beautiful, Tom. Your BIL will be very proud to display his past in that fine piece of craftsmanship.

Nice piece of work, Tom. Did you add some "salt water" to the poly top make sure that Navy stuff inside doesn't de-hydrate? Just kidding.. of course.

Congrats on your work and highest regards for your BIL's career and retirement from the military.
